It took longer for Desmond to respond to Shaun.
He was scared that his voice might fail him. It was already trembling from the grief that was eating
his insides since Lucy left. Sadness would be an understatement. But what was affecting him most was
not grief. It was guilt. He didn’t dare touch the hidden blade replica that killed Lucy. But then
again, it wasn’t the blade that did it. It was him. It was his hands that thrust the blade into
Lucy’s body. It was his own blade that took Lucy away from him. Away from this world..
YEA. I know it ain’t good but it’s just from my draft.
